Thankyou Everyone!

A big thankyou to everyone who has contributed to Sew Cuddly! I have been astounded by the fabulous response. I was originally going to to drive the toys to Toowoomba myself, but we have had such a big response that I can't fit all the boxes in my car! We are currently negotiating with some freight companies for discounted or free transport to get them to Toowoomba.

Once again, thankyou all for your great efforts!

I'll keep you posted and let you know when they get there.

Check out these goodies...

Crotcheted (or are they knitted?) rattles. A peach tree, a pine tree and an apple tree.

 A lovely soft cuddle blanket. the pattern (which is hard to see in the photo) is cats looking over a wall.

A Quilt

I made this from bits and pieces in the stash last night. I haven't made anything like this before and I really enjoyed it.

I need to borrow a walking foot to quilt and bind this, but I think there might be some more quilts in my not-too-distant future.

Dinosaur

A Valentine's Dinosaur

The pattern I used is here, http://rhythmofthehome.com/archives/autumn-2010/michaelmas-dragon/,  but I left off the dragon's wings and ears to make a dinosaur.

Thankyou

A big thankyou goes to Vicki, Emma and Oliver. Emma and Oliver saved up their pocket money to buy some nappies, wipes and baby food. We will take these up with the toys.
